More prep work

Guys!
It was 50 cent corn dog day at Sonic today! So I got 10 corn dogs. I really love corn dogs. Of course, with all the confusion, I actually ended up with 9 corn dogs (THEY SHORTED ME!) and a lemonberry slush (I asked for it, but they didn't put it on my order and when I pointed out that I had ordered one, the guy brought one out but didn't charge me). Sonic was not on it today. But I did get my slush, and I got 9 corn dogs, so I would consider that a success.

That aside, AAA is over by the Sonic in Portage, so I dropped in to ask about travel cards and visa cards and what the heck am I going to do with my money while I'm abroad? This trip is the longest I will be away, and I will need not only more money over that period than I am used to, but I sure as spit don't want to be walking around with cash all the time. Certainly, I want cash. It will allow me to budget a little better; however, it's a dangerous thing to do when it's more than $20 or so at a time. So, my questions weren't really answered when I got to AAA, but I was given the resources to find the answers, which will be alright as well.

I found my old camera. It's a sad thing, all old and not great. My dad did give me his old camera though, which is not sad and old. It's just old to him because he is always getting new tech. YAY! I have a decent camera now. Also a tripod that grips things, which is pretty nifty.

One of the assignments for this course is to get on stumbleupon. I worked soooo hard to quit that four years ago! I would just stay up until 4am clicking "Stumble" over and over. "Just one more, then I will go to bed.... one more..." Crap. I shall not fall into this again! (I hope.) I've been working on managing my other social media sites (social media management, look out!) and making sure that I know all my login info and have bookmark links etc so I can reference them easily later. I am quite looking forward to learning more about how to utilize these sites, and about new ones. I know that Reddit has been around FOREVER but I have never used it, so that's going to be new. They have a joke thread that I've clicked around in...

Speaking of jokes, here is today's:

One day an elephant was taking a drink of water from the watering hole when he spotted a turtle sitting on a log. He ambled over to where the turtle sat, and then kicked the turtle clear across the watering hole. A giraffe who watched the whole thing asked, "What the heck did you do that for?!" To which the elephant replied, "I recognized that turtle as the same one that took a bite out of my trunk fifty-three years ago."
"Wow!" said the giraffe, "What a great memory!"
"Yes," the elephant nodded, "Turtle recall."
